چکیده
Abstract After rice harvesting, the milling processes generate many by-products including husk, bran, germs, and broken representing around 40% of total grain. Bran, one external cereal layers, contains proteins, dietary fibers, minerals, lipids. One most common bran utilization is extraction oil (RBO). Among all vegetable oils, RBO presents a unique chemical composition rich in antioxidant compounds such as γ-oryzanol that provide several beneficial properties. generally extracted by exploiting hexane, solvent toxic to environment human health. The growing demand for this has led researchers look more sustainable techniques. Supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO 2 ) been successfully applied extract functional from matrices. In work, SC-CO was optimized using Design Experiment (DoE) on pilot scale. "The DoE approach involving multilinear regression allowed modelling yield gamma oryzanol function temperature pressure, keeping time constant, decided company. This made it possible optimize identify best (40 °C), while also highlighting pressure did not play any influential role process, at least concerning analyzed experimental domain industrial plant. A model computing obtained. study shows obtain good quality RBO, essential fatty acids, low temperatures pressures, starting by-product. Graphical

Genotoxicity of rice bran oil extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction.
Rice bran oil extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction (RB-SCE) reportedly exhibits pharmacological activities such as antioxidant and in vivo hair growth-inducing effects. Such activities raise the possibility of the development of novel hair growth-inducing agents using RB-SCE. The aim of this study was to investigate the potential genotoxic effects of RB-SCE in three short-term mutagenicity...
متن کاملDetermination of gamma oryzanol in rice bran oil by HPLC with molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction
A molecularly imprinting technique can be used for the separation of gamma oryzanol which gives high selectivity and affinity towards template molecules. This technique was successfully applied for the molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) synthesis via photopolymerization method by using diethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) as a function monomer, gamma oryzanol as template, dodecanol as porog...
